Kohler Launches WaterMind Technology, Standardizing Showering Experiences Regardless of Water Pressure

Kohler, a global lifestyle brand and leader in the design and innovation of kitchen and bath products, introduces WaterMind™, a groundbreaking technology that addresses the problem of inconsistent shower experiences stemming from varying water pressures especially low pressure. This first-to-market solution automatically senses the water pressure and adjusts to deliver a strong water flow utilizing an innovative self-adapting nozzle system.

WaterMind technology utilizes ultra-thin (0.1mm) nozzles that constantly regulate the water pressure to deliver a consistent and strong showering experience. The spray face features 60 nozzles distributed for optimum coverage, providing 180mm water coverage. The nozzles automatically "open and close", effectively reducing water dripping after closing and avoiding scale accumulation for easier maintenance.

“Water pressure can significantly impact the user’s shower, however WaterMind technology removes these inconsistencies to provide an exceptional and constant experience,” says XXX from Kohler. “This is a highly advanced technology delivered in an intuitive and superbly functional product.”

The new WaterMind technology is offered on the Statement Round and Oblong Multifunction Handshowers in three flow options, 2.5 gallons-per-minute (GPM), 1.5 GPM and 1.32 GPM, to provide full spray coverage with exceptional water savings. The 1.32 GPM models obtained WELS 3 ticks label and are able to achieve 6 LEED points (50% saving).

The Statement handshowers feature three distinct spray patterns: Full Coverage with WaterMind technology for a drenching spray experience, a super-fine luxuriously soft Cloud spray experience, or more-focused, Deep Massage kinetic cross-streams, angled to relieve sore muscles. The Statement handshowers with WaterMind technology utilize silicone oil-coated sprayfaces that offer improved durability and easy maintenance.  Additionally, Statement handshowers are easy retrofit options and carry a versatile design aesthetic to fit into a multitude of spaces.
